Duolingo is more like a game! I get rewarded for completing lessons and for just showing up each day for 15 minutes oh and did I mention it is totally FREE?!ĭuring ‘Shelter In Place’, I have heard from so many people that they have a lot of extra time on their hands while at home. Between homeschooling, working, cooking and cleaning up after every single meal plus snacks, trying to keep myself and the littles active and healthy, and the list goes on and on… I can barely find time to sit down! Despite all of the day to day craziness, I have been learning (actually re-learning) to speak Spanish with the app Duolingo!Īfter trying several different ways, including audiobooks, textbooks, other apps and learning from family members all with little success, I finally found something that works and it is actually FUN! This app is designed to keep my attention and doesn’t force me to spend hours a day listening and translating. This post is sponsored by Duolingo but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.ĭespite the fact that I have barely left the house in over a month now, I cannot figure out why my time is more limited than ever! Oh yeah… I have kids.
